How much does it cost to preserve flowers from the wedding bouquet?

 
A Huge selection of frames in various quality and colours will be available to you.  The completed shadow box can start from $400 for a flower girl sized posy to $700 for a teardrop wedding bouquet. Prices will vary depending on the size of your frame. Additional features can be added such as engraved plaques, buttonholes, photos from the wedding day and marriage certificates. The average bride spends anywhere between $650 to $1000 (inclusive of packaging/express freight interstate and express freight directly to your nominated address).
A credit card number or cash payment is required on booking for the $150 deposit with a separate $65 freight/packaging fee (may be less upon size of flowers).
 
 

What happens after the bridal bouquet is sent off for flower preservation?

 
Once Lillypad have packaged and arranged overnight express freight of your wedding bouquet for flower preservation, a representative from the preservation company will contact  you on receipt of your flowersto advise of safe receipt of your bouquet and to introduce themselves. You will be issued a tax invoice and another copy of the terms and conditions. You can then select the colours and frames all online, at the comfort of your own home. 
 

What will the wedding flowers look like?

 
Most flowers will keep their shape and colour however there may be variations in shades due to the treatment process.
 
 

How long does the flower preservation take?

 
The whole preservation of your wedding bouquet process takes about 6 to 18 weeks from the time your flower preservation order is placed.
 
 

What happens to the wedding bouquet once received for preservation?

 
Once your wedding flowers are received, they are photographed, completely dismantled to individual stems to be re-hydrated and then freeze dried. It is important to understand that flowers will change colour and textures when they are preserved, just a natural process whichever method you choose to go with whether freeze dried, chemically treated or other methods. They are then coloured if required, re-assembled onto the background board of your frame bloom by bloom... back into the original design of your wedding bouquet. The end results will depend on the age, variety and condition of your flowers upon arrival.
 
Additional keepsakes e.g. buttonholes, marriage certificates or photos encapturing the wonderful emotions of the day can also be added to your shadow box for a truly unique piece.
 
 

How long do preserved flowers last?

Preserved flowers will last for years. Outside conditions such as direct sunlight, humidity and extreme temperatures may affect the condition of your keepsake, so we recommend to keep them in a room that will avoid the above conditions.
